How We Rank & Score
Last Updated: October 16, 2026
In one line: the star ratings you see on ForexHub Pro are our own editorial assessments, produced by our team from public documentation. They are not reviews left by users, and they are not numbers supplied by the broker or prop firm. No company pays to be listed, to be ranked, or to receive a particular score.
1. Where our scores come from
Each broker and prop firm profile is built from primary sources: the provider’s own published documentation (its pricing schedule, account terms, and platform list), its regulator’s public register, and its own published challenge or evaluation rules. Where we cannot verify a figure from those sources, we show “Not verified” rather than leaving a blank that could be mistaken for real data.
This is why our listings label figures explicitly. A leverage value appears as “Up to 1:5000”rather than a bare “5000”, because the ratio only exists as a maximum and only for certain legal entities and client classifications. A spread appears as “From 0.1 pips” because that is an advertised minimum, not an independently measured average.
2. What we assess
Our scores reflect the factors below. These are the considerations behind each judgement — the score itself is an overall editorial assessment on a 1–5 scale, not an automatic calculation.
- Regulation and legal entity. Which regulator actually licenses the entity that would open your account, and in which jurisdiction. A brand name is not a regulatory status.
- Total trading cost. Spread and commission together, because a broker can advertise a tight spread while charging more elsewhere. Deposit and withdrawal fees count too.
- Platforms and execution. Which trading platforms are genuinely offered, and what execution model (dealing desk or STP/ECN) applies.
- Account structure. Whether Standard, Raw/ECN, or other account types are actually available, and what each requires to open.
- Instrument range.Currency pairs, metals, indices, energy and cryptocurrencies — and any restrictions on them.
- Flexibility for the trader. Availability of EAs, news trading, scalping and copy trading, where relevant.
- Support and funding options. Deposit and withdrawal methods, and any stated processing conditions.
For prop firms specifically, we also weigh the challenge rules themselves: profit targets per phase, whether maximum drawdown is static or trailing, whether it is calculated on balance or equity, the reset timezone for daily loss, minimum trading days, and payout eligibility. Two programs advertising “5% daily loss” can carry very different risk depending on those mechanics.
3. What our scores are not
- They are not a recommendation to open an account or buy a challenge.
- They are not a guarantee of safety, solvency, or profitability.
- They are not aggregated user reviews. Where genuine user reviews exist, they are displayed separately and labelled as such.
- They are not a live market feed. Figures shown on the site are stored comparison data with a review cycle, not real-time prices.
4. Independence and money
ForexHub Pro does not sell listings, ranking positions, scores, or reviews. Some links are affiliate links and we may earn a commission when you open an account or buy a challenge — see our Affiliate Disclosure. That commission has no effect on whether a firm is listed, where it ranks, or what score it receives.
We also do not accept payment to remove a negative finding, and we do not allow a provider to edit or influence the score attached to its own profile.
5. Limitations we want you to know about
- We are an independent publisher, not a licensed financial adviser, and we do not hold client funds or execute trades.
- Provider terms change without notice. Always confirm a figure on the provider’s own site before you rely on it.
- Availability, leverage and protections differ by country and by the legal entity serving you. A favourable score for one reader may not apply to another.
- A high score is not a substitute for your own due diligence, and not a substitute for professional advice where your circumstances require it.
6. Challenging a score
If you believe a score is wrong, or you have evidence that a figure is inaccurate, we want to hear it. Read our Corrections & Reporting page for how to submit evidence and what happens next.
